Università degli Studi di Milano
Via Festa del Perdono 7
20122 Milano
Also known as ‘La Statale’, the University of Milano is one of Italy’s younger university institutions. It was founded in 1924 thanks to the tenacious efforts of physician Luigi Mangiagalli, who accomplished his long-held dream of building a university for Lombardy’s regional capital.
Located in the very city centre, only a few steps away from Milano Cathedral – il Duomo, the University of Milano is the ideal location for an international meeting, thanks to its beautiful and impressive main lecture hall and meeting rooms, with several enchanting cloisters.
